James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark in India on Day 12, cementing its position as one of the most successful Hollywood releases in the country. The third installment in the Avatar franchise continues to draw massive crowds to theaters.
The film has been performing exceptionally well across all formats, with IMAX and 3D screenings accounting for a significant portion of the collections. Premium formats have contributed over 60% of the total revenue, showcasing audience preference for the immersive theatrical experience.
Day 12 saw the film collect approximately Rs 18 crore nett, bringing the total India collection to Rs 408 crore. The worldwide gross has now exceeded $1.2 billion, making it the highest-grossing film of 2024 globally.

The film introduces the Fire Na'vi tribe and expands the world of Pandora with stunning visuals that have been praised by critics and audiences alike. While some have criticized the runtime, the visual grandeur continues to attract repeat viewings.
